Passionfruit Margarita Recipe

Whenever I stumble upon a good thing, I always want to recreate it and share it with my friends. If it’s GREAT, then it should be spread across this ole globe, right? Well I’ve had some GREAT passionfruit margs and some really terrible ones. I decided to try recreating the GREAT ones and I think I did a pretty good job. Scroll down for my recipe for this delicious passionfruit margarita, I’m quite sure your life will be better once you are sipping on this 🙂

Me, drinking a margarita, obviously…

Passionfruit Margarita Recipe:

In a shaker with plenty of ice, combine:

  • 1 Shot (1 oz) of tequila (I’m using Espolón)
  • 1 shot of triple sec (orange liqueur)
  • 1/2 shot of lime juice
  • 3 oz of passionfruit juice – the GOYA brand is what I used and loved it. This can be found in the “ethnic” section of the grocery store.

Shake that until the outside of your shaker gets frosty then pour over ice into a tumbler and serve with a straw (extra points if it’s a re-usable straw 😉).

What you will need for this recipe 🙂

I mean it’s not rocket science, just whip it up and take that first sip. Let me know how it goes…

And if you take too many pictures you’ll start wanting to drink it and then you might choke… ask me how I know…

What a cute blog, Dan! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love to eat, not so good at recipes or taking pictures, but my husband and I got in the groove of it a couple of nights ago for a photo challenge. https://tchistorygal.net/2021/03/15/cbwc-sunday-stills-whats-in-our-italian-american-kitchen/ My husband helped me arrange the ingredients and it was actually fun to do. Your recipe photos reminded me . Have a great weekend.

Hi Marsha 🙂 I feel you – I’m definitely more of an eater than a chef BUT I do my best 🙂
